Damn this time i don't get to make up bullshit for the sake of making up bullshit.

I think everyone knows what happened in Dunkirk, but this time we are not in dunkirk but rather in the western-most part of the defensive perimeter, going some kilometers into Belgium, as you can clearly see from the very belgian sounding names of the various towns.

The British troops in this area are tasked with delaying the German troops, that are now resuming operations after the halt order issued by german high command, to safeguard the only lifeline out of the continent.

xx.Redfor and greenfor both fall under Allied Command - meaning that at the end of the game their points have to be pooled together
xx.Only belgians count for the red capzone and only brits count for the green capzone
xx.The vickers machine gun in Allied Command can be assigned to the faction leader to any squad he likes (on the proviso that they join another squad and don't go around like a 2 man rambo squad)
xx.British Mech Platoon had to abandon their bren carriers in the escape from Belgian frontlines, they can find replacements abandoned at the "Wrecked Mech Platoon" marker
xx.German Mech Platoon has ran out of fuel due to advancing too far, they will have to wait for platoon 3 to bring them their two fuel trucks
xx.If Allied Command relinquishes the Belgian objective without a fight, it will suffer a diplomatic loss (forfeit loss of mission for side leader)

It's the future, and the technocrats from silicon valley succeded in forcing everyone into the metaverse™ grift after having built The Machine™ that blurs the line between the virtual and the real world, making it so that every living being has to pay monthly fees to be allowed most basic human tasks, such a breathing™, walking™ and breeding®.

Wars™ are also fought differently now because of The Machine™; teleportation devices (The Metaport™) have become real allowing people (and soldiers) to instantenously move to a pre-mapped location.

Despite what most technocrat-controlled media says, The Metaport™ is however very dangerous and can only be tackled when wearing a special VR™ Suit™. The large quantities of radiations remain incredibly dangerous even when wearing the VR™ Suit™, so who knows what exotic kinds of genetic diseases anyone using it (and their offspring, if rich enough) will have to live with.

Luckily the technocrats sending YOU™ to war to fight for their own interests don't expect anyone to live long enough for the genetic diseases to really matter anyways.

Informations générales/General Informations
xx.There are no vehicles at each spawn. To get to the fight, the troops will have to take a trip through the teleporter and possibly commandeer civilian vehicles.
xx.ALL civilian vehicles on the mainland are marked. Each marker has enough vehicles for 2 squads worth of transport.
xx.The island with the objective is full of civilian vehicles where you'd expect them, so they aren't marked.
xx.6 (or 4) players advantage for the objective means that factions only get points if they have 6 (or 4) players MORE than the other faction inside the capzone. If its contested, nobody gets points
xx.Every soldier has a suppressed weapon except for machinegunners, autoriflemen and bluefor marksmen. Basic Riflemen have extensible ladders.
xx.There are land bridges connecting the obj. island (visible in the zoomed tac-map) that can be crossed with vehicles.
xx.Of the MRAPs to the east, the armed ones unlock after 5 minutes, and the transports contain ammunition as per the marker.
xx.EXPLANATION FOR THE TELEPORTER:
 • Only squad leaders can interact with the teleporter
 • Upon interacting with the teleporter, the squad leader will be prompted with a pad, letting him write out the coordinates.
 • The coordinates are in the same format as the GPS (xxxyyy). So, if you want to teleport to grid square 190 106, you simply type "190106".
 • When pressing enter, you will be teleported to the selected grid square, as long as its within your mapped out zone*.
 • You, together with everyone else inside the teleporter (inner circle), will be teleported at a random spot near the middle the grid square, scattered inside of a 15m radius circle.
 • *The randomly selected spot will be used to check if you're inside the valid zone, so when choosing edge grid squares you might get rejected because of RNG

Finland, 1950
After Finland won the finnish winter war so hard that they lost 11% of their land to the soviet union, the finns were unhappy how the allied nations just stood there watching.
Not content with just one victory, they went ahead and won the continuation war as well, but as they clear up all the mines in their waters and rebuilt their destroyed nation, the finns were unhappy how the allied nations betrayed them and their only friends were the good people of Nazi Germany.

Now its the start of the cold war, tension between the communist world and the western nations are high, following disputes regarding the western held territory of west berlin.
So when the soviet union came knocking, wanting finland to "sign a treaty of friendship and brotherhood", the finns simply accepted.

Worried about their position in the arctic sea deteriorating, the allied nations further escalated conflict with the soviet union. After only a week of the treaty being signed, all filo-soviet nations got kicked from the fledgling united nations, and promptly created a new group called "The Krakow Pact".

With entire army groups of the red army ready to move in to turn finland into a fortress, the allied nations led by the British launch an invasion of finland.

Finland, who can't stop winning, decides to finally take up arms against the true enemy: the anglo-saxons.

xx. IMPORTANT REDFOR SPAWN NOTES:
 • The british army gliders will spawn on the ground like in regular missions.
 • At warmup end, the gliders will get teleported to about ~700m up in the sky with ~200kph horizontal speed (to be tweaked upon further testing).
 • The gliders REQUIRE a pilot, else they'll plummet to the ground (whatever gliders have no crew onboard will NOT be teleported).
 • All redfor squads go on the gliders.
 • Gliders will enter into a death dive when surpassing a certain speed (will update this upon further testing)
 • If a glider were to blow up uncerimoniously for whatever reason, the people inside shall be respawned.
xx.OBJECTIVES:
 • The railway bridge can be blown up by anyone, and will be 3 actions lasting 15 seconds EACH, with the bridge exploding 20 seconds after the end of the last action (run away)
 • Due to confidentiality, the russian comms can only be tampered and restored with (via action) by:
   Platoon Commanders, Platoon Sergeants, Section Commanders and Section 2ic (AND ANY EQUIVALENT FRENCH AND FINNISH SLOTS)
xx.The balance for the defenders takes into account a nearly-full platoon 1. For this reason, small groups (<6) may be denied slots in FINNISH PLT 1.
I will not accept any balance criticism if the finnish side leader allows platoon 1 to be made up by small teams.
xx.Camping one of the amphibious tanks in the sea to shoot from safe distance from AT weapons is FORBIDDEN and will be punished following regular OFCRA rules

xx.If you want to request a change in balance, you must commit to the side that gets weaker as a result of such change

While it would've been cooler to have dakotas tow the glider in location, that would have
 1. massively increased the complexity, which would've no doubt lead to big problems on game night
 2. been a problem for the pilots of the dakotas
 3. completely wrecked the timings with the larger defending force coming in from the south, turning it into a bit of a suicide.

But this is not the only picture of behavioral disparities.

For work I commute from Milan Metro to Como by car.
Well on the way back, in the evening around 8pm, it is "normal" to be overtaken at breakneck speed by big engined cars with Swiss license plates. And if you don't move, someone even passes you on the right, especially on Friday evenings when they go out to do the nightlife in Milan where they probably do what they would be afraid to do at home.

But how? At their house they go at 90 km/h and are careful not to slam the door and, as they arrive in the Bel Paese, alè: land of no rules. And here they whiz by at 200 and more.
(I checked last Friday, on multiple cars).
Poor things, you could almost understand them! At home they are kept "on a leash" and here, feeling protected by the Swiss niet, they let off steam.

It's a shame that if we try to behave like this in their home... if you don't pay the fine you won't leave. It is better, in this case, to have a credit card which they accept on the road rather than returning on foot.

Thanks for the space director, but do we always have to be the "beaten and cuckolded" ones?

The Australians have had enough: They are sick and tired of people confusing Austria and Australia. "We are distinct nations", an Austrian official claimed in a press conference in Sydney.
Those Austrians and their stupid mountains won't know what hit them. Austria is here to prove their superiority against the Australian nation and to finally unite both people under a single name: Australia

In order to achieve this, the Australian prime minister has ordered the Australian army chief of staff to prepare a plan of invasion of Australia. To achieve this, the Austrians have decided to pull out early from the disastrous war in vietnam, that has already claimed thousands of australian lives for the sake of the American imperial dream.

Instead, those troops will be redirected straight to Australia, where the Australians hope to squash the neutral nation's army in a flash. In preparation for the invasion, the Australians have sent a bunch of infiltrators who have mixed with the local Austrian people, in order to sow discord and confuse the local population of which Aus* nation they are part of.

And at the end of all of this, people around the world will only know one great Aus* nation:

Sehreno, late 1950s
With the second world war coming to an end, the belgian people resented the french for having invaded their nation to prevent a german invasion through the lowlands. But the french were able to prevent very little, so belgium went from french to german occupation in a matter of a couple months.

With France too busy using the Algerian revolts to pioneer indiscriminate urban warfare techniques (so effective in their brutality that they remain used generations past their inception) after depriving them of resources, radiating their ground and discriminating against them in their own country, Belgium took the opportunity to take revenge on the french by challenging french rule on the far reaches of their empire.

While trying to keep an air of innocence, they stoked the conflict by arming the indigenous people of Sehreno, an island off the coast of central Africa, to fuel insurrection, even going as far as sending an unknown amount of unmarked soldiers to fight on their side. With their direct involvement, the french became aware of what was going on and decided to teach them a lesson by wiping them out.

xx.The trucks can only be "captured" by redfor's side leader and 2ic (rambo rules apply for processing a vehicle for those 2). "Capturing" a truck will make it disappear and be permanently completed.
xx.Bluefor are NOT ALLOWED to attempt to damage the trucks, move them, remove their wheels (including spares) or prevent their exit from their parking spots. Any of these actions will lead to the affected truck being considered as "captured" post game.

Despite the absolute battering received by the NATO force's northern group, an offensive that was being prepared by the US to decide the confict, comprised of units equipped with the latest armoured vehicles fresh off the lines, took the soviets by suprise in the south. Supported by elements of the Canadian army, now almost completely integrated in american command, and by breakthrough elements of the French army, the NATO spearhead managed to push all the way through east germany and are now fighting to get a foothold in Poland.

This offensive forced the northern front forces from the warsaw pact to retreat to more tenable positions, after their own offensive drained them of combat power significantly. Despite this, a stalemate in this upcoming battle would most likely break the NATO forces' back, as nothing short from a massive success will give them a chance of winning the conflict.

A soviet mechanised unit stationed in czechoslovakia, backed up by czechoslovak troops themselves, are the first sent in to make sure that NATO's plan is foiled through a swift counterattack of the most advanced elements. At the same time, a group of polish mountaineers recovering from the recent soviet attacks in the norths found themselves in the middle of the action, and are trying to hold on to an important town.

An unexpected solar storm hitting the earth and jamming all communications and electronics prevented this counteroffensive taking place two weeks ago, but now a czech scientist found out how to shut down these solar storms so the warsaw pact can barely wait to deal the final blow to the advancing nato forces.

• hon . HQ units are forbidden from using any assets not assigned to them, including small arms and vehicles, but excluding fixed weapons such as HMGs.
• hon . Rambo rules apply to the IFVs. The 2 SPG9 UAZs and the TOW Jeep have to be incorporated as part of the polish and french squads respectively (rambo rules applying. 2pt deduction if broken)
• hon . Reserve trucks for the mechanised divisions are mainly for reserve players maxing out players fitting in a vehicle. Please make an effort to not used them unless absolutely needed (1pt deduction if i feel like it)
• hon . There will be a capture zone that will be revealed after 1 hour of game time.
• hon . The two GRADs and the 2 SPGs can be found at the "Soviet Artillery" marker. The two fuel trucks and engineering strykers can be found at the "NATO Supply" marker.

Jersey Island, March 1945
The war is nearly over, and the germans have pulled most of the garrison out of the island to bolster the defenses of France just one year prior. Now the garrison (and the island itself) has been left without a steady stream of supplies, and with the population now facing starvation the british government wants to prevent a disaster from unfolding on the island, unlike that one time they provoked it in bengal.

And so the garrison holds on to dear life to the island and whatever supplies they hold from the humanitarian aid provided by the Swiss Red Cross in the only deliveries allowed by the allies.

After the involvement of PMC has escalated the conflict, several battles have waged between the two opposing sides, without anyone really gaining momentum. Now [attacking side] is looking to seize that momentum by sieging the city of Al Tabqah. In order to achieve their goals, they are carefully planning all the necessary pieces for minimising losses, rather than resorting to a frontal attack. For this end, they will try and position several artilley pieces within a couple kilometers from the city's edge, and prepare vital supplies in strategic locations just outside the city.

Aware of these preparations, the [defensive side] have decided to launch a spoling attack to prevent these preparations to go on uncontested. Principal among the objectives of this attack is to deprive the attackers of large quantities of fuel present in the airport, and the infiltration of 2 agents within strategic locations east of the city. Given the sparsity of heavy-carrying-capacity vehicles in this region of Africa, the destruction of such vehicles employed in the preparations is also a valuable objective.

xx.Each artillery APC has to be in a blue zone for 20 minutes before the objective is completed. There are 2 zones for 2 Arty APCs.
xx.Each supply APC has to be in a red zone for 10 minutes before the objective is completed. There are 4 zones for 3 Supply APCs.
xx.Leaving the area for ANY APC resets the timer. Complete destruction of vehicle in a zone stops the timer. Each APC has to go to its own area (you can't bring both APCs to a single arty, bringing more than 1 APC to a zone will lead to only one of them being completed).
xx.After the APC stays in the zone for the required time, it will disappear and be substituted by the content it was carrying (arty and supplies). These WILL NOT BE USABLE and are there for visual purpose only.
xx.Destruction of the fuel is done EXCLUSIVELY by a scroll wheel interaction on a laptop.

Ticino, sometimes in the 70s
After the second world war, upwards of half a million italians emigrated to switzerland, mainly from the rural parts of neighbouring northern italy, in hopes of improving their situation. While initially very open to immigration, with work permits and accellerated routes for citizenship made available to italians, the public perception shifted heavily during the 1960s, as heavy competition drove salaries down for the poorer elements of swiss society while driving profits through the roof for those already wealthy.

This culminated in the federal election of 1971 where a coalition of anti immigration and anti italian parties was elected into power, with policies advocating for open violence against italian immigrants. Anti italian death squads were reported to be roaming the major industrial cities, and an escalation of attacks between the two sides made the situation incredibly precarious. After having been taken over by the italians, the canton ticino has been turned into a post apocalyptic looking place (weird that).

As fatalities piled up on both sides, both the swiss goverment and the italian government were preparing for an intervention with their respective armies, to appease increasing cries for support by each side. The italian top brass approved a limited invasion with the aim of capturing most of the territory south of the alpine watershed. The swiss army didn't mind ticino being turned into a wasteland by their own people (they are neutral), but will not accept an invasion, and has mobilised in kind.

xx.To get the "water reservoirs" objective points, both water reservoires need to be in the same state (either connected or disconnected).[/b]
xx.To connect or disconnect the water theres a 10 second action on both laptops under the reservoir. Status of both reservoirs will be shown on the laptop's screen (OK if connected and ERR if disconnected)[/b]
xx.GULASH RESERVOIR WILL BE LOCKED AFTER 60 MINUTES OF GAMETIME (it will be impossible to connect it or disconnect it past this point). It will still be possible to change the esseker reservoir up to the end of the game.
xx.The crates tampering must be done in subsequent order by the same person. The order of the crates goes from northmost to southmost crate. If the person doing it dies, another one has to start from the beginning.
xx.First time tampering of a crate will take 90 seconds and will raise smoke (for all 4 crates). Re-tampering will only take 45. It is impossible to undo the tampering.
xx.Artillery pieces will be undestructible until they have been "recovered" by bluefor, after which it will be possible to destroy them. Recovering coordinates will be done via a 30 seconds action.
xx.You can tell if an artillery piece has been recovered if the parabola on the back of it has disappeared, which means it can be destroyed by redfor.

At the 35th G8 summit, Gaddafi publicly called for the dissolution of Switzerland, its territory to be divided among France, Italy and Germany.
To attempt to ease the tension between the countries and get the release of the two Swiss businessmen, Swiss President Hans-Rudolf Merz went to Tripoli in August 2009 to apologize for the arrests. This was criticized by the Swiss press and public, with numerous calls for his resignation.

In February 2010, Gaddafi called for an all-out Jihad against Switzerland in a speech held in Benghazi on the occasion of Mawlid. Gaddafi in reference to the Swiss ban on minarets described Switzerland as an "infidel harlot" and apostate. He called for a "jihad by all means", defining jihad as "a right to armed struggle", which he claimed should not be considered terrorism.

In late 2011, as Nato bombs were falling on the Lybian desert, Germany decided to pick up on Gaddafi's proposal, considering a majority of switzerland speaks a dialect of German and its inclusion would boost the german economy even further. Italy and France decided to intervene too, attacking switzerland in its back and taking their fair share of land. Not satisfied with germany getting the lion share of the economic spoils, the two nations allied together to chip away at Germany's gains.

Somewhere along the western front, the good guys are advancing after a period of stalemate in normandy (i think). The germans find themselves encircled in the falaise pocket so they need to get out of there to go and murder women and children (probably) and other evil deeds.
The first mission will be played out for the control of the southern road to neaville. For the germans, gaining ground (capturing zones) will be a priority (more points) while the allies are looking to wipe out the germans (supremacy and big zone will give more points).
In the second mission, the winner of the first one will have to root out the loser from the town of Neaville (THE SPAWN POINTS WILL BE DETERMINED DEPENDING ON WHO WON THE FIRST GAME).

xx.The GREEN zone will lock after 25 minutes from warmup end (at 10:25 in game time)
xx.The RED zone will lock after 30 minutes (10:30 igt) and the BLUEone after 40 minutes (10:40 igt)
xx.A message will tell both sides who controlled the area. Please keep in mind, depending on server load the timing of the zones may be off by seconds or even minutes.
xx.The second mission's artillery has to be disabled via a timed action (scrollwheel) that'll take 20 seconds.
xx.A disabled artillery piece will be facing the ground instead of the sky.
xx.In both missions, a spare APC will be added to the roster if one side has a significant number advantage.

Normandie, Juin 1944
En préparation du jour J, un petit groupe d'alliés est parachuté en Normandie, afin d'augmenter les chances de succès de ce qui sera le plus grand assaut amphibie de l'histoire. Leur objectif principal est de neutraliser le faible radar allemand, pour lequel ils ont amené 3 spécialistes radar afin de le détruire complètement. Lors du débarquement, ils apprennent de leur contact dans la résistance française que l'augmentation des échanges radio a alerté les Allemands de la petite présence française dans la ville de Sainfoin. Un raid est prévu et les cibles principales sont le VIP français et la radio volée à l'enemi.

In preparation for d-day, a small allied group paradrops in Normandy, in order to increase the chances of success of what is going to be the largest amphibious assault in history. Their main objective is to neutralize the weak german radar, for which they brought 3 radar specialists to thoroughly destroy it. Upon landing, they learnt from their contact in the french resistance that the increased radio chatter alerted the germans to the small FR presence in the town of Sainfoin. There is not a single Italian surname that wasn't left lying in the snow in the disastrous winter 1943 retreat.

The Italian Army in Russia (ARMIR) was an under equipped and poorly led army composed by close to a quarter of a million men sent by mussolini as a last ditch attempt to affirm Italy as an "equal partner" to Germany in the Axis, after the failures of the invasion of France over the alps, the East Africa campaign, the Greek campaign and the undecisive 1st battle of El Alamein, stopping the Afrikacorps dead on their tracks.

As part of the northern defence of the Stalingrad salient along the Don river, together with the Romanian and Hungarian armies, the ARMIR was smashed by Russian forces in operation Little Saturn with the objective of further solidifying the encirlement of the German 6th army in Stalingrad.

After holding their front, the three Alpini divisions along the river were encircled. The Julia and the Cuneense divisions were destroyed during the retreat, while only parts of the Tridentina made it to further German defenses, but were unable to continue the fighting, marking the dissolution of the entire army group. In total only 15.000 alpini made it back, out of the ~65.000 deployed on the Don.

The Battle of Nikolajewka is the last hurdle faced by the last few remaining fighting units as they fight their way out of the pocket

SITAC/Backstory

1944, l'Allemagne est en déroute. En se repliant, ils essaient de s'accrocher à chaque centimètre de terre pour la combat final. Ici, ils vont se battre contre les soviétiques pour quelques fortifications construites en 1940 avant la barbarie. Sur l'aéroport (utilisé également comme dépôt d'épaves), un seul avion a survécu au bombardement précédant l'offensive et est actuellement en préparation pour le vol.

1944, germany is on the retreat. As they fall back, they try holding on onto every inch of land for the endsieg. Here, they will fight against the soviets for some fortifications built in 1940 before barbarossa. On the airport (used also as a wreck depot), a single aircraft survived the bombing preceding the offensive and is currently being prepared for flight.

• Le FW190 sera prêt au vol 45 minutes après le début de la mission (après le warmup) . The FW190 will be ready to fly after 0:45 hr of gametime (after warmup)
• Aucun véhicule autre que l'avion n'est disponible No vehicles other than the airplane are accessible
• Le canon AA sur Border 2 peut être utilisé, mais s'il est déplacé par les redfor, les bluefor auront automatiquement le point. The AA on Border 2 can be used but if it is moved by redfor, bluefor will automatically get the point
• Il y a un canon AA sur Border 4 en cas de nécessité. There is an emergency AA on Border 4
• Si le FW190 décole et est détruit, le point ne sera pas compté. If the FW190 takes off and gets destroyed, the point will not count
• Les bluefor n'auront aucun point si l'avion survit. Bluefor gets no points if the aircraft survives
• Vous pouvez sceller le bunker de l'officier sur Border 1 via une action ACE. Le scellement est permanent. You can seal the bunker for the officer on Border 1 via an ace option on the sign. The seal is permanent
