SITAC/Backstory

Fapovo, janvier 1990
L'île de Fapovo, longtemps sous le joug soviétique, a atteint son indépendance il y a peu. Ses sous-sols sont réputés pour être très riches en hydrocarbures, ce qui en fait une cible tout indiquée pour les Etats-Unis, qui ne craignent désormais plus de déclencher une troisième guerre mondiale, en raison de la chute de l'URSS. Les troupes US fraîchement arrivées auront pour missions de saboter les infrastructures pétrolières afin d'en prendre plus tard le contrôle. Il va de soi que l'armée de Fapovo ne voit pas les choses de la même façon...

Fapovo, January 1990
The island of Fapovo, long under the Soviet yoke, recently gained its independence. Its subsoil is reputed to be very rich in hydrocarbons, which makes it an ideal target for the United States, which is no longer afraid of starting a third world war because of the collapse of the USSR. The newly arrived US troops will have the task of sabotaging the oil infrastructure in order to take control of it later. It goes without saying that Fapovo's army does not see things the same way...

IceBreakr here. I would like to attend with my squad after we won't be able to join Digby's SOGPF event. We would need 6-8 slots?

- multiplay_uniform mod removed
- 2 smaller squad added on each side (with deployable MG)
- M151 mutt and M939 replaced by armed and unarmed humvee (because they had a big tendency to explode easily)
- more informations about the secondary objectives added
- more informations about the DAGR (and not the microDAGR usually used, we are in 1990!)
- number of UAZ (armed and unarmed adjusted)
- view distance will be 1500m
- 7 reserve slots (riflemen) have been added on each side

Is there a Steam collection for the required mods, for example ofcra.zip has to be installed manually?

Thank you in the name of SBP Team for having us, hopefully we can get our own radio channel next time ;) we somehow got the new frequency set for CH5 that was already in use by some other guys that didn't write it down on the map prior of using it.

A bit of mishap when we missed taking out the BLUFOR sniper on the hill, we lost the momentum and BTR bad visibility got us downed pretty quickly. Not to mention friendly fire coming from the border cross from our  red unit ;)

Anyway, we learned a bit of TVT, as we are lacking as we play 99% against AI in various COOP stories. We will gladly join one of next events. Also, I am preparing a new terrain that will be first tried out by OFCRA & friends. Manchot will hear from me soon. Good luck guys and hope you had a fun time like we did.

I'm not sure what happened on your side but there should be plenty of "free radio channel" available, maybe just pick/create one next time and put it on map for everyone to know and see..
That beeing said, it was a cool game indeed, a few twists here and there, with some intense moments, I personnaly enjoy it.
Looking forward for that new map/terrain and thank you for your feedback!  :thumbsup:
