Sitac / Backstory
Idlib ,Syria , 2015
In an alternative reality where Russia commits its airborne forces in the defence of Bashar al Assad's regime after both the US and UK vote for ground intervention following the use of chemical warfare on civilians in Idlib.   

While the US have set up a safe zone in Aleppo with the 82nd Airborne, British forces have deployed the Royal Lancers surrounding Idlib to protect civilians and enable deliveries of aid.

But when the incompetence of the SAA led to another chemical strike on a populated roundabout in central Idlib, the Royal Lancers become targets in the way of the VDV's clean up efforts to deny such a strike has ever taken place.

Now both conventional armoured airborne and unconventional spetsnaz teams move in to destroy the lightly armoured British forces. But the Brits have been aware of such a possibility and their forces are built around the experimental Urban Phalanx structure which is designed to win CQB fights like the one which quickly approaches the Brits. Only time will tell if this is enough...

• Hon. / The Russian forces have 4x crocus AT drones while the Britis have 2x AR2, neither side has any specialist tools to shoot them down
• Hon. / Brit largely unarmoured defence vs Russian mechanised attack
