Sitac / Backstory
Chernobyl Exclusion Zone - circa 2018
The Barrier has fallen. This strategic military checkpoint setup on the edge of the Red Forest was once garrisoned by the Ukrainian Military in order to contain the flow of mutants coming through the forest. However, during the Second Emission - a huge psy-emission from the centre of the zone - many soldiers were devasted. After being briefly abandoned, Veteran Loners and later, Freedom, a paramilitary faction of ideologically motivated, initiative stalkers illegally operating in the Zone, took control of the checkpoint. This checkpoint stood as the last normal outpost between the living, the wild territories, mutants from the Red Forest and most importantly, The Monolith Faction.

This quasi-religious cult, hostile to all but their own, are former stalkers brainwashed by one of the psychic emitters throughout the Zone (namely the Brain Scorcher) into serving the will of the C-Consciousness, unflinchingly loyal and ready to sacrifice themselves at a moment's notice. Monolithians believe in the power of the Wish Granter, rumored to be an alien artifact hidden in the center of the Zone. Members of this faction devote their lives to protecting the secret of the Great Crystal, ensuring that no one ever reaches the center of the Zone. While physically, they are on par with other stalkers, their religious fervor sets them apart and allows them to ignore wounds and continue to fight, even after they run out of ammo. Stories abound of fanatical Monolith Stalkers, after running out of ammo, ditch their weapons and attempt to kill the enemy with their bare hands, no matter how grievous their wounds . This same fervor also prevents others from capturing a Monolith member – if taken into custody, he will commit suicide in any way possible (even by smashing his head against the wall).

After raid upon raid on The Barrier, the checkpoint has fallen at the cost of hundreds of lives of the Freedomers & Free Stalkers. This breakthrough by the Monolithians sets the stage for their conquest of the Zone, killing everything in their path in the name of the glorious Monolith. Their first obstacle - the territories held by the Freedom Faction in the Army Warehouse region.

Joined by a detachment of Freedomers from the Yanov Station, the defenders set off from their HQ in the Army Warehouse, to meet their enemy, or their end, in a meeting engagement along the new line of contact.

• Hon. / Both sides use almost identical Squad Layouts & vehicles
• Hon. / The side leader inside research bunker objective means that they must be inside of the cargo container tower building. (Purple square on map)
• Hon. / With limited vehicles available, this is a majority Infantry focused event
• Hon. / A box will be available and clearly labelled at spawn with a wide range of 1x Zoom optics for you to choose whichever you prefer the most
• Hon. / Reserves Slots will be in game, they are not shown on the signup table below
• Hon. / Lukash and Preacher will be located in each of their Anomaly Sites within a Rusty Cargo Pod, with an Artefact scanner outside. They will not move from this location on their own, and players are forbidden from relocating them
• Hon. / Both 'Unique' Squads spawn with the rest of their side (Granite for Monolith & Loki's Yanov Squad for Freedom)
• Hon. / Both Psi Emitters at the Radar Station start in a neutral state and must be activated by either side to begin the activation, or disable the activation. There is beacon ontop of the interaction object that indicates which side has interacted on the object. (Blue beacon = Psi Emitter is disabled, 2pts for BLUEFOR. Red beacon = Psi Emitter Enabled, 2pts for REDFOR). At 60 and 70minutes respectively, each Psi Emitter interaction will be LOCKED meaning whoever activated it last will be awarded the points at game end.
• Hon. / Each objective area in the Zone has been created from the ground up within the editor, hopefully providing an immersive, unique gameplay experience, with several "flavour" items/decorations and small details dotted around everywhere you look
• Hon. / The vehicles between each side will be easily distinguishable, with Freedom using a flat/standard green colour across the board and Monolith using tan vehicles & a tan/green camoflague on their BRDM/BTR
