Context

April 2026 - Estonian coastline
Despite their preparation and the help of NATO members, the Estonian armed forces were not able to stop the 55km long column attacking their capital. However the fall of Tallinn did not cause the surrender of the defenders. Instead, they retreated west and are doing their best to delay the Russian advance while meeting up with the rest of NATO forces. The evacuation of the forces on Hiiumaa has begun, but they first defensive lines have been breached by a forward component of the Russian forces. Will the Estonian manage to evacuate their assets and secure a potential counter attack with NATO allies ? Or will they crumble before the unwavering advance of the Russian forces ?

Important notes
  • This is mainly an attack (Russia) - defense (Estonia) mission. Assets have been intentionally balanced with that in mind. That being said, feel free to provide feedback. Any feedback that is provided less than 48h before the mission played will automatically be discarded unless it critical for the game's purpose. 
  • The crash site and the com center objectives can be completed by interacting with a specific item during the mission. Once the interact is completed, the item will disappear. Only Redfor can accomplish those interactions. Bluefor's main purpose with these objectives is to prevent any Redfor player to complete the interactions.
  • The RM-70 can be destroyed with any sort of AT weaponry. The BTRs can also destroy them.
  • YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO STEAL AI EQUIPMENT. DOING SO WILL RESULT IN INSTANT KICK FROM THE SERVER WITH NO POSSIBILITY TO COME BACK.

Bluefor and Redfor objectives

Bluefor: The observation base has been taken [3 points]
Redfor: The observation base has been taken [3 points]
Description: Estonians are doing their best to delay the enemy advance, and the observation base is a great spot to stop them before the evacuation harbour.
Time limit: The objective will be completed and locked after 50 mins.

Bluefor: The evacuation harbour has been taken [5 points]
Red: The evacuation harbour has been taken [5 points]
Description: The Estonian troops are doing their best to save as many assets as they can from Hiiumaa. Capturing the harbour before the evacuation can be completed would be a great advance for Russians forces.
Time limit: The objective will be completed and locked after 90 mins.

Bluefor: The first, second and third RM-70s are still active [1 point/RM-70]
Red: The first, second and third RM-70s have been destroyed [1 point/RM-70]
Description: Estonian forces have managed to relocate a few artillery pieces on one of the remote island off the shore. They are using them to harass Russians forces and their supply lines. They are of vital importance to the NATO war effort.
Time limit: The objective will be completed and locked after 70 mins.

Bluefor: The NATO com center was not infiltrated by the Russians [3 points]
Red: We infiltrated the NATO com center and retrieved precious information [3 points]
Description: The Estonian neglected to evacuate the local NATO com center when the Russians came. It is currently ongoing, but they need time to do it properly. The Russians can make use of that time.
Time limit: The objective will be completed and locked after 70 mins.

Bluefor: The Russians weren't able to retrieve the blackbox [3 points]
Red: The blackbow was retrieved by Russian forces [3 points]
Description: An Estonian helicopter recently crashed on one of the island off the shore. It was coming back from a recon flight but suffered a malfunction. The Russian need to retrieve the blackbox to find out what was discovered during the flight.
Time limit: The objective will be completed and locked after 70 mins.

  • The main goal of the Germans is to be fast and effective. The Americans, on the other hand, are doing everything they can to delay them.
  • The only way to capture a town is to raise the flag of your side instead of the other side. You can do this by interacting with the flagpole you will find in the center of the town. Green circle on the map means the US are controlling the area, Blue means the Germans are in control. For Schoenburg and Amel, the change cannot be reverted. Meaning that once the Germans have captured the town, it cannot be contested again by the US Forces. However, St Vith can always be retaken.
  • The US Forces have three spawns : MAIN, NORTH, and SOUTH. The Main forces are all squads under the Commander of the US Forces and himself. The squads spawning North and South are also under their platoon leaders.
  • For the sake of balance, I chose to give the Germans more semi-automatic rifles than they actually had at the time of the battle. That is because, in my experience, bolt action rifle against semi automatic and automatic rifle render the game unbalanced and prevent a fair fight
  • YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO STEAL AI EQUIPMENT. DOING SO WILL RESULT IN INSTANT KICK FROM THE SERVER WITH NO POSSIBILITY TO COME BACK.

Bluefor and Redfor objectives

Description: If they are fast enough, the Germans can take Schoenburg from the Americans in 40 mins, who are doing everything they can to delay them.
Time limit: The objective will be completed and locked after 40 mins.

Bluefor: Schoenburg has been taken within 55 mins [3 points]
Red: Schoenburg is still under US control after 55 mins [5 points]
Description: If this objective is completed by US forces, their mission to delay the enemy will have been accomplished and they will be free to fall back to St Vith
Time limit: The objective will be completed and locked after 55 mins.

Bluefor: Amel has been taken within 40 mins [5 points]
Red: Amel is still under US control after 40 mins [3 points]
Description: If they are fast enough, the Germans can take Amel from the Americans in 40 mins, who are doing everything they can to delay them.

Description: Capturing St Vith in only a little more than 1 hour would show the might of the German forces. However, the US troops are ready for them and will not allow anyone to boot them out.
Time limit: The objective will be completed and locked after 70 mins.

Bluefor: St Vith has been taken within 90 mins [4 points]
Red: St Vith is still under US control after 90 mins [6 points]
Description: St Vith is not the only town under German assaults, but whichever side gets to control St Vith will definitely strike a massive blow to the other side plan's for the rest of the operations in the Ardennes.
Time limit: The objective will be completed and locked after 90 mins.

June 2026 - Province of Susice, Czech Republic
In an attempt to reach Western Europe and the Atlantic sea, Russia has launched a massive assault through southern Poland and is now pushing through the Czech Republic to access German territory. Taken by surprise, NATO Allies haven't been able to stop Russian progress. As they approach Susice, a local Czech commander has decided to seize his chance and his dedicating all his reserves to stop the Russian push. A small mechanized Italian regiment which was training in the area before the offensive has volunteered to help.

As the Russian assault approaches, Czech and Italian forces are scattered all over the province. They need to regroup and organise their defence. Maybe then, they will have a fighting chance.

Description: The Czechs have recently installed mortars in the forest north of Susice. Although their range is limited to a couple of kilometers, it is still sufficient to cause massive damage to Russian convoys going through the area.
Time limit: The objective will be completed and locked after 70 mins.

Redfor:  Take down the communication center [2 points]
Bluefor: Preserve the communication center [2 points]
Description: Czech command set up an improvised communication center in an abandonned hospital east of Susice. It is crucial for NATO to keep the node active to be able to continue communications with other nearby units.
Time limit: The objective will be completed and locked after 70 mins.

Bluefor :  Capture Susice - the SOLO Factory, the Hospital and the High school [2 points per flag - 6 points max]
Redfor: Capture Susice - the SOLO Factory, the Hospital and the High school [2 points per flag - 6 points max]
Description: Susice is too big of a city to control with just one choke point. To claim victory over the valley and the city, both sides need to take the three locations listed above.
Time limit: The objective will be completed and locked at the very end of the game (90 mins).

Context

April 2016 - Chernarus
After the failure of the regional government to seize control from the federal state, the region has plunged into a long lasting conflict. Both parties are harassing each other, and no real progress has been made... Until now. The Russian armed forces are launching a new offensive from their regional hub, and are hopping to take Zelenogorsk back from the opposition. The stakes are high, as another defeat for the regional governement would result in the loss of the important logistical hub. Also, loosing Zelenegorsk is one of the last urban area held by the Chernarussian insurgency. The latter is therefore determined to hold it, whatever it takes. [/size]

Important notes and specific rules

  • For the blackbox, there is an arma 3 interaction that you must do on the object. Only redfor can do it, and you have to hold for multiple seconds until it dissapears.
  • There are reserve slots for all spawns.
  • If you think there is an issue with the mission, please bring it up at least 48h before the actual date of the game. Otherwise, I cannot guarantee I will have the time to check it.
  • There is no HE in the armed vehicles.

Bluefor : The blackbox was never found [2 points]
Redfor: The Russian armed forces retrieved the blackbox [2 points ]
Description: The helicopter of International observers was recently shot down in the area. The Russian authorities have been tasked by the international community to conduct an investigation on the crash. However, insurgents have regularly been seen around the crash site and prevented all attempts to retrieve some evidence. Time is running out, and the offensive is the last chance to find the blackbox before the chances of malfunction become extremely high.
Time limit: The objective will be completed and locked after 70 mins.
Specificity : For the interact to be complete, you need to hold the button shown on screen for the entire duration of the interact. If not, it will be reset.

Bluefor : The BM-21 are still active [1 point per truck - max 3 pts]
Redfor: The BM-21 have been destroyed [1 point per truck - max 3 pts]
Description: The insurgency has been harassing federal state controled areas with their stolen artillery vehicles. Destroying them would have a huge impact on the effectiveness of the Chernarussian strategy.
Time limit: The objective will be completed and locked after 70 mins.

Bluefor :  The city is under control [1 point per flag - max 3 pts]
Redfor: The city is under control [1 point per flag - max 3 pts]
Description: In order to control the city, three areas are of importance: the train station, the police station and the new residential area.
Time limit: The objective will be completed at the end of the game.
Specificity : The starting position of the flag are in favour of Bluefor. To capture an area, a team must interact with the flag until its own flag replaces the current one. For the interact to be complete, you need to hold the button shown on screen for the entire duration of the interact. If not, it will be reset and the flag will not change.

Bluefor :  The side leader survived [2 points]
Redfor: The side leader survived [2 points]
Description: Side leaders are important for the efforts of their teams. Dying early would result in a severe lack of cohesion.

Context

March 2016 - Chernarus
After the start of the conflict in october 2014, the National Armed Forces of Chernarus (NAFC) have been at war with a regional government trying to break free from the state. Over the years, the conflict stalled and both sides have taken massive casualties in terms of manpower but also material. Today, both sides are looking for alternatives to get the upper hand. Recently, the regional government forces have been replaced in some places by the ION Security Services, a western Private Military Company that has been involved in various conflict over the world in the past decades. They are renowned for their efficiency and professionnalism, but some sources have linked to attrocities commited in areas they were fighting. The management, however, has always denied any implication in breaches to the the international humanitarian laws. The NAFC, recently, have been provided with more equipment from neighbouring eastern European powers. It involves weapons of all calibers, vehicles and ammunition. This equipment has already dispatched to frontline units.
Both sides hope that with those recent changes, they will manage to overpower the enemy. International observers are not as optimistic, since they hoped that with the casulaties and the slow progress of the war, a peacefull arrangement would be found. Unfortunately for them, it appears that neither side is ready to lay down the arms.

Description: ION Services recently brought brand new equipment to the frontline and the NAFC was made aware of it through a drone reconnaissance. The NAFC wants to destroy these artillery equipments ASAP in order to secure its ground assets.
Time limit: The objective will be completed and locked after 70 mins.

Bluefor : The radio truck has been destroyed and the radio net infos have been collected [2 points for the truck - 2 points for interacting with the radio / max 4 pts]
Redfor: The radio truck is still active and the radio net informations have not been collected by ION  [2 point for the truck - 2 points for preventing ION to interact with the radio / max 4 pts]
Description: The NAFC recently remanned an abandonned radio station. While most of it is still impossible to use, it is perfectly located for a small team of spotters who can overlook most of the valley. ION is aware of that advantage and will therefore do everything it can to take that advantage away from the NAFC.
Time limit: The objective will be completed and locked after 70 mins. Specificity : For the interact to be complete, you need to hold the button shown on screen for the entire duration of the interact. If not, it will be reset.

Bluefor :  The old school has been captured [2 points]
Redfor: The old school has been captured [2 points]
Description: Both factions have been fighting over the small town of Novaya Petrovka for multiples weeks now. It doesn't really bring any tactical advantage but the recent media coverage of this area of the conflict has transformed the town in a tier 1 propaganda asset. The school has been turned into a fortress, and no one can claim control over Novaya Petrovka without having the school itself.
Time limit: The objective will be completed at the end of the game.

Context

October 2014 - Province of Diyala, Iraq
The region has recently been through hell due to heavy fighting between a terrorist entity and the Iraqi Security Forces. After the recent fall of Mosul, Sinjar and Fallujah, the Iraqi state is looking for a solution to interrupt the expansion of the extremists. In a similar way, the Peshmergas have now started engaging the extremist group in combat. The main goal of the Peshmergas is to prevent the terrorists to enter the Kurdish terroritory which is currently unscathed. They also need to repare the damage done their reputation and image after they shamefuly retreated from Sinjar and other areas in the Ninewa province, allowing the extremists to gain more territory with almost no resistance. The consequences on the population were immediate, and the scars will not heal easily.
Both the Iraqi Security Forces and the Peshmerga High Command have agreed to put aside their previous misunderstandings and disagreements in order to fight the so far undefeated extremist group. One of the first offensives has to take place in the Diyala province, located north of Bagdad and bordering the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. It will allow the governements of both Kurdistan and Iraq to send a strong message to the terrorists and the international scene, and will also give the opportunity to free an area located not far from Bagdad and Kirkouk, which are both important cities of Iraq.

Description: The extremist group has disfigured a local mosque by raising up a bunch of flags. Taking them down would send a strong message to the local populace as well as to the press. Same goes for the extremists if they can keep them up.

Description: The extremists have stashed a lot of explosives and ammunition in a local construction site. Most of the supplies are still in the truck. The coalition needs to destroy both the truck and the cache, which contain very precious assets the terrorist group's actions in the area. The truck cannot be moved or towed.
Time limit: The objective will be completed and locked after 70 mins.

Bluefor :  Take down the broadcast tower and network [1 point to destroy the tower - 2 points to interact with the laptop / max 3 points]
Redfor: Preserve the broadcast tower and network [1 point if the tower is still up - 2 points to prevent bluefor from interacting with the laptop / max 3 points]
Description: The extremists have set up a broadcast net just west of the airport. It allows them to share their deeds across the internet, advertise their actions and recruit new members. The Iraqi state and the Kurdish authorities simply cannot allow that to happen. Destroying the antenna would be a first step towards victory, but copying all the data from the computer could prove most useful in the coming months.

Bluefor :  Capture the airbase [3 points]
Redfor: Capture the airbase [3 points]
Description: The Iraqi Security Forces and the Kurdish Forces could benefit from recovering this base. As it stands, the extremists cannot really use it as they lack any type of air assets. However, they know that holding it prevents their enemies from further bombing their supply lines.
Time limit: The objective will be completed and locked at the very end of the game (90 mins).
